How to Enroll

How to Enroll Your Child: Children must be 6 weeks through 6 years of age to enroll. Parents must be working or going to school minimum 25 hours per week. 3-17-09 031

Call to make an appointment between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday at 812-424-4780. Tours are available upon request.

Child Care Hours and Fees: We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. The fees are determined at admission and are reviewed periodically.

The St. Vincent Center for Children and Families accepts children without regard to race, gender, household income, religion, national origin or disability.

Curriculum

The Creative Curriculum for Preschool teaches our kids math, literacy, science, social studies, the arts & technology in ways that match the natural way they develop and learn.

program2 Music and Movement introduces our kids to colorful scarf dances accompanied by rhythms of Bizet’s “Carmen” and Brahms’ Hungarian Dances and melodies of Mozart.

Pediatric nurse, speech, occupational/developmental and physical therapies wrap our kids in services to promote health, creative learning, physical, cognitive & emotional development.

Seton Harvest Community Assisted agriculture program introduces our kids to farming, healthy eating, seeds, growth, composting, planting and patience!

St. Vincent’s Foster Grandparents Program through the Community Action Program of Evansville (CAPE) assures our kids experience unconditional love, respect for elders & plenty of nurturing.

Did you know?

•  St. Vincent’s earned Accreditation in May, 2010, from The National Association for the Education of Young Children.

•  St. Vincent’s achieved a 5-Star rating from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management in January, 2009.  St. Vincent’s was the 1st participating child care facility in Evansville.

•  St. Vincent’s achieved Level-3 Paths to Quality rating in January, 2009, with Level 4 achievement to run parallel to NAEYC accreditation.

•  St. Vincent’s has formal agreements with EVSC, Acacia, St. Mary’s Center for Children & First Steps to provide health and therapy services to the children we serve.

Social Services

We offer on-site speech, physical and occupational therapies, which are supported through the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation.
